Xiao’s Treasures online slot game

Xiao’s Treasures is a video slot featuring two central bonus features: Free Spins and a Hold & Win-style game. Mystery symbols can appear during the former and potentially improve wins, while the latter may lead to the 5,000x Grand jackpot.

Theme and storyline

Set in the distant Celestial Empire, the Xiao Imperial Dynasty rules with wisdom, encouraging peace and prosperity while gathering immense stores of gold and other riches. Stories about the mysterious Xiao family and its legendary treasure have travelled across the land, although no one has ever seen the hoard. Players are invited to pursue the family’s secrets and discover the concealed treasury, where the imperial dynasty’s countless riches are believed to await.

Visuals, audio and animations

Gamebeat’s Xiao’s Treasures is a mobile-friendly online slot machine designed for desktop and mobile play. Its visual treatment, styling and artwork reinforce the oriental setting, while the accompanying audio also suits the game’s overall presentation.

How the gameplay works

Xiao’s Treasures is a 5-reel, 3-row, and 25 payline video slot featuring two entertaining and lucrative bonus features, a maximum payout of 5,000x the stake, and a 96.14% RTP. In the base game, the goal is to sustain your balance by forming winning combinations from the 8-regular paying symbols. Beginning with the first reel, you need to land three or more matching symbols on an active payline.

The highest-paying 5-symbol combination multiplier for each symbol is listed below:

• Purple Character: pays up to 12x
• Red Character: pays up to 8x
• Blue Character: pays up to 6x
• Green Character: pays up to 5x
• Purple/Red Writing: pays up to 3.2x
• Blue/Green Writing: pays up to 2x

Other symbols also influence play. The Wild substitutes for every regular symbol when doing so can complete a winning combination. Yin and Yang symbols appear only on the first and fifth reels and activate the free spins feature. The gold bonus symbols, meanwhile, start the Hold and Win bonus game in Xiao’s Treasures.

Free spins and bonus rounds

• Free Spins: Landing Yin and Yang on reel 1 and reel 5, respectively, awards 8 free spins. Mystery Symbols appear during the feature and transform into the same regular symbol. Each time those Yin and Yang symbols land on reel 1 and reel 5 on the same spin, you receive an additional 8 free spins.
• Hold & Win Bonus Game: On Xiao’s Treasures, the second bonus game begins when 6 or more Bonus symbols land during the base game. It awards 6 respins on reels populated with special symbols. Coin symbols carry values between 0.4x and 20x; Red Orb and Jade symbols gather and total values from the other symbols, while a Tea symbol awards additional respins.

Every symbol locks into position during the respins. The feature finishes when all positions are filled and the 5,000x Grand Jackpot is won, or when the respins run out. In the latter case, the values of all symbols that landed during the feature are awarded.

Bet sizes, RTP and variance

Xiao’s Treasures is classified as a medium-to-high variance slot with an RTP of 96.14%. The listed stake range runs from 0.40 to 5,000 per spin.
