24K Dragon online slot review
Despite its name, Play’n GO’s 24K Dragon is not a tale of fire-breathing creatures or magical 24 Karat gold. The “24K” points to the game’s stated maximum prize: up to 24,000x the total bet. That headline figure is a potential payout, not a promised result.
Theme and storyline
The 24K Dragon slot puts the prospect of a major payout ahead of its fantasy setting, though dragons and treasure still feature. A dragon head appears on the reels, and a beast watches over a store of coins and valuables. The layout suggests a lair that calls for careful exploration. The source review characterizes this video slot as highly volatile, with opportunities for substantial wins that may come infrequently; volatility does not predict any individual session.
Visuals, sound and animation
Among Play’n GO’s 2020 releases was the Reactoonz 2 sequel, and 24K Dragon also stands out for its detailed artwork and familiar action-style soundtrack. Together, these elements create a fantasy atmosphere reminiscent of stories such as Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings. The source review also describes engaging game mechanics and animated sequences, especially when a win occurs.
Top Casinos to Play 24K Dragon:
How to play
A winning spin requires at least three matching symbols in adjacent positions. The symbol group determines the payout: silver and gold dragons are high-value icons, while card ranks from 10 to Ace pay less. Other premium symbols include a lion, a green gem and crossed swords. The dragon symbols can raise a payout by up to 5x, and premium icons by up to 2.5x.
Special symbols add further chances for free spins and respins: watch for the Treasure Chest, Golden Dragon scatter and Diamond scatter. Wilds appear only on reels 2, 3 and 4, and may pay 2x or 4x your wager.
Bonus rounds and free spins
24K Respin: Landing the Golden Dragon scatter activates this feature. Between 1 and 4 rows are added to the reels, opening up more paylines for a single respin.
Free Spins: The Diamond Scatter must land at least three times to trigger this round. Three symbols award 8 free spins; four or five award 15 or 20, respectively. The source description says the bonus may trigger repeatedly. Golden dragon heads can open additional reel rows, while Treasure Chests can apply a 2x or 4x payout multiplier when included in a winning combination.
Bet sizes, RTP and variance
The review lists 24K Dragon’s RTP as 96.20% and characterizes its variance as very high. It also gives a maximum win potential of 24,000x the total bet; that figure describes a possible top result, not a likely outcome. For more options, browse online casino games.
Final thoughts
With 5 reels and 4 rows, 24K Dragon offers 1,024 ways to win, with a match of at least three symbols needed for a win. The game dates to 2020 and combines a dragon theme with familiar fantasy and mystery imagery. Its reported high variance and wild multipliers may appeal to players drawn to larger potential payouts, but neither feature guarantees a win. The original review describes an animated slot experience built around those mechanics.
