In an effort to address its reputation, the company requires its games to undergo testing and approval by Technical Systems Testing (TST). The source describes Technical Systems as an accredited testing facility in many jurisdictions and says it is known internationally for its commitment to integrity in gaming.
Game quality is another area where RTG has sought to strengthen its image. Its software is described as loading quickly with few glitches, while players have praised the crisp graphics in both Flash and downloadable game versions.
RTG titles may be paired with appealing welcome bonuses, and some casinos let players select from more than one bonus option. The software also supports a shared balance across different games, so players need not create separate accounts for each one. Casino operators can customize the platform’s settings and game rules.

Pros & Cons
Pros
- Strong software quality
- Sharp, polished graphics
- A broad mix of games
- One of the few software providers that still accept U.S. players
Cons
- With many games open to operator configuration, players may not know which settings to expect
- Licensing is absent in many jurisdictions
- Some casinos associated with RTG were previously criticized as unscrupulous or rogue operations
Many of the slot games can feel like near-duplicates
Conclusion
Although the Caribbean 21 dispute happened years ago, it remains the episode most closely linked with RTG in many players’ minds. The provider has since shed most of its associations with rogue casinos and now works mainly with more reputable operators. Players should still assess each casino carefully and read its terms and conditions. Because operators can configure RTG software, check the particular rules and conditions attached to each game.
